Skadoosh! For anyone in the Hampton Roads area who's wondered what to do with all those piles of paper that seem to keep multiplying around your desk, help is on the way! I'll be presenting a 2.5-hour workshop on Friday, July 31, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at the Greenbrier Library in Chesapeake, Virginia.
The title? Paper Ninja!
If you live in southeastern Virginia: Register for the workshop here. The cost is $79, but if you register before July 1, it's only $59. Anybody who's seen me speak knows that handouts will be included, and that we'll have a lot of fun. You'll also be able to download a free MP3 of the workshop for future reference.
We'll be going over the Sorted Seven process live and in person. You know what that means? Bring a pile of crap. No, not literal crap; anything that's been piling up on your desk: your mail, your phone messages, your files, anything that is sitting in an unruly stack on your desk on the evening of July 30. You will leave the workshop knowing what to do with everything in that pile, guaranteed.
If you don't live in southeastern Virginia: I'll be recording the workshop (and probably making extra notes on it) and offering it as an MP3 with PDF handouts and a similar early-bird discount. You know I'm not going to leave you non-locals out in the cold.
I'm really stoked about this workshop, and I hope to see you there!
